Screaming Eagles Complex Phase II

Screaming Eagles Complex Phase II

This phase of the Screaming Eagles Complex completed earlier this year was an addition and renovation of the existing Physical Activities Center. The complex houses multipurpose athletic courts, a new 6,000 square foot weight room, lounge spaces, locker rooms, and a state-of-the-art training center. This facility also houses the offices for all of the athletic staff for the University.

Empire Contractors along with our subcontractors are proud to complete another project with the University of Southern Indiana.

USI Natatorium is Now Complete!

USI Natatorium is Now Complete!

The University of Southern Indiana once again has an Aquatic Center that was opened in October 2021. It has been since 2017 that USI has had a place for people to swim when the old aquatic center was demolished to make way for the Screaming Eagles Arena . The new Aquatic Center is equipped with both 25 yard and 25 meter competition swim lanes, two 1 meter and one 3 meter diving boards. There is also a large spa for swimmers to be able to relax their muscles. Thanks to USI for the opportunity and thanks to all those involved who played a role in the construction of this project. It was truly a team effort.
